This project was done in consultation with MAPC (Metropolitan Area Planning Council)
- The objective of this project was to perform outreach with Downtown Lynn’s small business owners and gather information on their highest priority needs though:
- Identifying their business support needs.
- Prioritizing the voices and needs of low-income businesses and businesses of owned by People of Color in Downtown Lynn’s Cultural District.
- Measuring Lynn’s new developments and the associated risks of displacement of the locally owned small businesses.
- Conduct interviews with businesses, including Latino-owned, Black-owned businesses to gather information on the highest priority needs of Downtown businesses for a strong economic recovery from COVID-19 developed by MAPC.
- Assess which parts of the area were most affected during the height of the pandemic.
